Settings & account how-tos

Open your Settings

Click your avatar at the top of the left sidebar, then Settings. It's grouped into your Profile, Workspace, Account (Usage, Plan, Billing), and Admin (Users & permissions, Integrations, and more). The Workspace and Admin sections only show if you manage the workspace.

Change your name or profile photo
  1. Go to Settings → Profile.
  2. Click Upload photo to set or replace your picture.
  3. Next to Full name, click Edit, type your first and last name, then Save.
Set or change your password
  1. Go to Settings → Profile and find the Password row.
  2. Click Set password (or Change). If you sign in with Google, you can add a password as a backup.
  3. Enter your new password and click Save password.
Rename your workspace or add its logo

Workspace admins only.

  1. Go to Settings → Workspace.
  2. Edit Workspace name and click Save.
  3. Under Workspace graphic, click Upload graphic to add your logo (or Change graphic / Remove).
Invite teammates and set their role

Admins only.

  1. Go to Settings → Users & permissions → Invite people.
  2. Enter their email, pick a role, and click Send invite.
  3. They join automatically the first time they sign in with that email. Change anyone's role later from the member list.

Roles: Admin — full access, incl. members & billing · Editor — upload, edit & publish to social · Contributor — upload & edit (no publishing) · Viewer — view & download only. Viewers are unlimited and free — they don't use a seat.

Connect an integration (Google Drive, Canva, social)

Admins only.

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations — one hub for storage (Google Drive), design tools (Canva), and social publishing.
  2. Click Connect on the one you want and follow the prompts. Disconnect removes it.
See your plan or manage billing

Admins only. Go to Settings → Plan to see what's included. Subscription & payment management lives under Billing — your first 14 days are free, and you can pick or change your plan there anytime.

Delete your account

Go to Settings → Profile, scroll to Delete account, and type DELETE to confirm. This permanently removes your account and data and can't be undone.

Connect your Shopify store

Vanday works both ways with Shopify — pull your product photos in to organize and tag them, and send finished imagery back onto your product pages. A workspace admin sets this up once; after that, editors can import and send images too.

Connect your store — 30 seconds

Workspace admins only. No developer setup, no keys.

  1. In Vanday, go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. On the Shopify card (under Commerce), click Connect.
  3. Enter your store address — the .myshopify.com one from your Shopify admin URL (for example, yourstore.myshopify.com) — and click Continue to Shopify.
  4. Shopify shows you an approval screen. Click Install / Approve.
  5. You're brought right back to Vanday, connected. That's it.
Using it — import, send, and find
  • Import products. On the Shopify card, click Import products, tick the products you want, and Import. Their images land in a Shopify folder, auto-tagged.
  • Send an image to a product. Open any image → Send to Shopify → pick the product → Send to product. It's added as an additional product image (set the featured image in Shopify). Large images are resized automatically to fit Shopify's limits.
  • Find Shopify assets. Use the Shopify filter in the library toolbar to show everything imported from or sent to your store.
Who can do what
  • Connect or disconnect the store — workspace admins.
  • Import productsadmins.
  • Send images to Shopifyadmins and editors.
  • See where an image was sent (with a link back to the product) — everyone.
Troubleshooting
  • "That store address wasn't valid." Use your full .myshopify.com address (for example, yourstore.myshopify.com) — the one in your Shopify admin URL, not your custom domain.
  • "Your Shopify connection expired." Go to Settings → Integrations → Shopify, click Disconnect, then Connect again to re-approve. (This only happens if the store hasn't been used in Vanday for a long time.)
  • "No products found." Add a product (with a photo) in Shopify first, then try again.
  • Your image is very large. No action needed — Vanday automatically resizes it to fit Shopify when you send it.

Quick answers

How does tagging work — do I have to tag anything myself?

No. Every image you upload is auto-tagged by AI the moment it lands — by what's in it, the colors, and even the words printed on a design. You can always add your own tags too, but you don't have to.

How do I find a file later?

Just search in plain language for what it is or what it says — "navy ad," "woman hiking," "30% off." You don't need to remember filenames or which folder it's in.

Where do my uploads go?

New uploads land in your Inbox so you can review and file them. From there, move them into folders (or leave them — search finds them either way).

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every plan starts with a 14-day free trial on the Growth plan — AI tagging, social publishing and every integration — no credit card required. When the trial ends, you pick the plan that fits your team.

Still stuck?

A real person reads every message — usually back within a day.
