What happens to my files if I cancel?
They're yours. Export everything — files and metadata — anytime, including after you cancel. Your data is never held hostage.
How is Vanday priced?
Three flat plans by seats and storage: Starter $89/mo (5 seats, 20 GB), Growth $149/mo (10 seats, 100 GB), Pro $299/mo (20 seats, 400 GB). Annual saves 20%. Every plan includes every integration and AI tagging; social publishing is on Growth and Pro. Plans differ only by size — no hidden add-ons, no per-feature upsells.
Is there a free trial?
14 days, full access, no credit card. If you're not sure, there's also the free Library Teardown — I'll look at your messy drive and hand you a plan, no purchase required.
Is Vanday SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified?
Not yet — certifications like SOC 2 are enterprise procurement artifacts, and Vanday is deliberately not an enterprise product. Here's what we actually do: logins are handled by Clerk (a dedicated auth provider — we never touch your password), integration tokens are encrypted at rest, every workspace is isolated, payments run through Stripe (card details never touch our servers), everything moves over HTTPS/TLS, and your files are backed up off-site with a tested restore process.
Does Vanday support SSO?
You can sign in with Google. Enterprise SSO (Okta/Azure AD SAML) isn't offered — that's a deliberate part of not being an enterprise product.
Can external partners see assets without full access?
Yes — share portals give agencies, freelancers, and clients a clean view of exactly the assets you choose, with optional password protection and view-only permissions. Your library stays private.
How does versioning work?
Upload a new version of a file and existing share links keep working — no broken links, no “final_v2_FINAL” filenames.
What if I delete something by accident?
Deleted files and folders sit in a recoverable trash for 30 days before anything is purged. One click restores them.
How fast is search on a large library?
Search stays fast as libraries grow — it runs on precomputed AI embeddings, not on scanning files. Type what you remember about the image (“blue banner with sale text”) and results are instant.
Does Vanday handle video?
Yes — upload, preview, organize, and publish video. Honest caveat: very large video files are an area we're actively improving. If your library is video-heavy, try the trial with your real files and see for yourself.
